Purpose of the Program

The Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Development Program helps subsidize affordable housing developments serving special needs and/or otherwise vulnerable populations, persons with disabilities, and/or those who need reduced barriers to housing because they are ex-offenders or transition-aged youth.

The program funds projects by leveraging funds from a variety of State and federal sources, including but not limited to the national Housing Trust Fund, Affordable Housing Trust Fund, and HOME.

Who is Eligible

Eligible developments will generally have 40 or fewer units and must commit at least 10% of the units for referrals through the Statewide Referral Network. A project concept meeting and approval of a Preliminary Project Assessment are required prior to submitting an application. Funding will be awarded to the highest scoring applications.
