Jacqueline Waters is the transit specialist for the Rural Transit Assistance Center. She completed her B.S. degree in Industrial Technology in the College of Business and Technology at Western Illinois University (1993) and her M.S. degree in Instructional Design and Technology at Western Illinois University (2008).
Employment Experience
Waters has a diverse work history. She has been a production manager at a sheltered workshop, assistant manager for a national drug store chain, engineering technician, test coordinator and precision measurement inspector for two manufacturing companies, a university teaching assistant and graduate assistant, property manager, and substitute teacher.
Responsibilities
Waters' responsibilities include maintaining and updating the RTAC lending library, creating short instructional movies for subjects in which no commercial product is available, writing the quarterly newsletter, coordinating the delivery of the emergency procedures, defensive driving and passenger assistance classroom training, scheduling the defensive driving on-site training program, conducting site visits, assisting in the planning and coordination of the spring conference and maintenance workshops, fall conference photographer, and has the lead role in organizing the annual Roadeo.
