Erin Orwig is the faculty assistant for the IVASDC. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science (2002) and an MBA (2004) from Western Illinois University. She was raised on a family farm in north-central Illinois that raised hogs and grew corn and soybeans.

Orwig’s primary responsibilities within the IVASDC will be to research value-added opportunities, provide technical assistance to producer groups, and contribute to locating grants and writing grant proposals.
