Carol is publication manager for the Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs (IIRA). She works with the director and others to manage a variety of professional activities within the Institute. Her main focus includes working on contracts and with personnel in funding agencies, state and local government, local professional groups, and WIU on-campus administration and department offices.

Specifically she coordinates the publication process for IIRA and schedules printing of IIRA publications, brochures and reports. She is responsible for supervising project completion, meeting deadlines, contract preparation, decision-making on personnel matters, managing personnel budget issues and coordinating other activities of the professional staff. She also assists with conference planning involving decisions about registrations, hotel arrangements and conference speaker activities.
