Christina recently graduated with her master's degree in Economics and two post-baccalaureate certificates in "Community Development" and "African and African Diaspora World Studies" from Western Illinois University. Christina has extensive international travel experience. One of Christina's first experiences in rural community development occurred as a Peace Corps Volunteer in rural Zambia where she served for 27 months. She worked on a variety of projects including aquaculture, conservation farming, permaculture, HIV/AIDS, and girls' empowerment. Christina received her B.A. from Smith College in Sociology and Spanish.
